The Fourier Transform

F(ω) = ∫ f(t) · e−iωt dt  |  Every signal = sum of sine waves

Every complex signal is a sum of simple sine waves. Toggle waves on/off and adjust their frequency and amplitude. The Fourier Transform reveals which frequencies are hidden inside any signal — from music to earthquakes to MRI scans.
